At Harborne Kitchen we are keen to keep developing and pushing ourselves in every aspect of the restaurant and bar. We feel this is reflected in our Walter Smith Private Dining Room.
Walter Smith’s is a well-known butchers that was brought to Birmingham in 1875. Walter Smith took over the business from his father in 1914, with the Harborne location being one of its most popular. Before Harborne Kitchen was created in 2016 by the founder Jamie Desogus, this space was still a butcher’s shop, which is remembered by the large drawing of a cow in our kitchen. We are honoured to say the grandson of Walter Smith, John Smith, still dines here today.
Located upstairs, our beautiful dining room is fully equipped with its own kitchen, so you and 11 guests will be able to enjoy Harborne Kitchen in all its glory with your own personal Chef and Host. Perfect for those special occasions, intimate dinner parties and corporate business lunches.
